About Danielle

Danielle is an avid ultra-marathoner who is constantly reminded of the importance of mental training in addition to physical training. Athletes pour money into enhancing their physical strength and ignore their well-being (low mood, anxiety, and depressive symptoms). Danielle specializes in helping athletes avoid the pitfalls of negative self-talk, so that they can achieve more balance in all parts of their lives. Using her four core principles, she guides her clients along their paths to physical and mental well-being, helping athletes reach their potential. Danielle is a Certified Running Coach and a licensed clinical social worker with extensive additional training.

Why Your Personal Growth Journey Starts with a Healthy Lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle is essential for personal growth because emotional and spiritual growth is much easier and longer lasting when it is coming from a place of physical health. When one is struggling physically, it exhausts personal energy and resources. In physical health, we have more resilience and strength to explore the depths of our personal growth that allow us to expand and live our best lives. A healthy lifestyle honors what one needs for personal growth - intuitive eating, nourishing movement, strength-based programs that are designed to expand physical well-being - not to meet a certain body ideal, but rather to grow into a person with life-long strength and health.

In a world full of quick fixes to gain optimal health, we are often being taught that health is a look, not a feeling. When we are not honoring the process of creating a lifestyle that makes us feel our best, it is difficult to focus on emotional growth. While it is not necessary to be fully healthy to work on personal growth, the core components of having energy and space to discuss emotional growth is based on a balance lifestyle that prioritize overall health.

Having a personal growth coach to guide you along the journey of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being makes the process more effective and longer lasting.
